The mission of the Atherton Hough PTO is to enhance and support the education of the children at Atherton Hough by fostering relationships among the school, parents, administration and teachers by offering, though volunteerism and financial assistance, outstanding supplemental enrichment opportunities for all students at the school.  The PTO strives to enhance growth and education by acting as a liaison between families and the school, and assisting the administration and teachers in upholding the high standards of Atherton Hough and the Quincy Public School System.

Becoming a Member
The PTO offers many programs and events throughout the year to benefit our school and the education of our children.  Joining the PTO by becoming a member allows you to:
– Vote at meetings
– Join a committee
– Serve as a Chair Person
– Hold an Officer Position
We want to hear your views and thoughts.  We appreciate your time and talents in making our school the best it can be!  We cannot be the successful school we are without your help!

Annual $10 Dues per Family  Your $ 10, along with our other fundraising efforts, enables the PTO to:

1. Supply extra learning material for our children including the library.
2. Purchase playground equipment and outdoor improvements.
3. Support programs used to enhance our children’s education such as in house field trips, one field trip transportation cost per grade level, and Anti Bully Awareness.
4. Provide fun family opportunities throughout the year like Bingo and our Fall and Winter dances
